Verifying your mobile number keeps your digiQC account secure and makes sure you receive important alerts and OTPs. Until your number is verified, a Verify Contact Details pop-up appears every time you log in — on both web and the mobile app. You can verify in about a minute, either from that pop-up or from your profile. If the number shown is wrong, you can correct it yourself before verifying — once verified, it is locked.
You can verify in two ways.
When you log in, the Verify Contact Details pop-up appears, showing your name, email and mobile number marked Unverified. Tap Verify Number.
Check the mobile number shown. If it is wrong, update it now (you can only change it while it is unverified).
Request the OTP, then enter the OTP sent to that number.
Your number is now verified. (Tapping Later closes the pop-up for now, but it returns at your next login until you verify.)
Open your profile in digiQC.
Go to the mobile number / verify mobile number option.
Check the number — correct it if it is wrong — then tap Request OTP.
Enter the OTP to complete verification. Your number is now verified.
Because your mobile number is not verified yet. It appears at every login, on web and mobile, until you verify. Once done, it stops appearing.
It closes the pop-up for that login only. You can carry on using digiQC, but the pop-up returns next time you log in until your number is verified.
Yes — while your number is unverified, you can update it yourself and then verify. After it is verified, you can no longer change it.
No. Once verified, the number is locked. Only your System Admin can change it for you.
Wait a minute and check the number is correct. If it is wrong, update it (while still unverified) and request the OTP again.
