Once your nomenclature is built, you can reshape and maintain it on the web app — move levels in or out, duplicate a structure, add points, and disable/enable/delete levels. Most of these work even after it's live. Go to Projects tab → Select Project → Nomenclature tab.
Nest items under a parent (a deeper level). Example: to put Reinforcement and Shuttering under RCC — drag them below RCC, select both, and click Indent.
Move an item up the hierarchy. Example: if Tower E is under Level 2 but should be Level 1 — select it and click Outdent.
Replicate an existing level/structure instead of rebuilding it. Example: copy Building A's full hierarchy for Building B, then make minor changes — saves time and keeps it consistent.
Single: find the level and click the + button next to it.
Bulk (Add Multiple): click Add Multiple to add many at once — you can copy-paste from an existing spreadsheet. Put each level or sub-level on a separate line.
Temporarily stop mobile users seeing a level (e.g. work not needed yet). Select the level and click Disable. You can Enable it again later.
Select a disabled level and click Enable — mobile users can use it again when adding nomenclature.
Remove an unwanted level. Note: a level/location already used (in an inspection, issue or register) can't be Deleted — only Disabled. Only unused levels can be Deleted.
Indent nests an item deeper (under a parent, into a lower level); Outdent moves it up a level.
Use Duplicate to copy a level/hierarchy, then adjust it — no need to rebuild.
Because it's already used (in an inspection/issue/register). Disable it instead.
Yes — indent, outdent, disable, enable, and delete (unused) are done manually, even after it's live.
The System Admin or Project Admin, on the web app.
Indent = nest deeper; Outdent = move up a level.
Duplicate a structure to reuse it across buildings/sections.
Add points singly with the + button, or in bulk with Add Multiple (paste from a spreadsheet — one level/sub-level per line).
Disable hides a level from mobile (reversible via Enable).
Used levels can only be Disabled; only unused levels can be Deleted.
All done from Projects → Select Project → Nomenclature tab.
