Why use RFI?
In construction, timely inspections are crucial. Site engineers often face issues when inspections are called too early, wasting time and causing mistrust. Conversely, when inspections are missed, it leads to delays and idle resources. With RFI, maker or the contractor can send an official request directly from the mobile app, including proof that the work is ready, along with the date, time, location, and live photos. This builds trust and ensures clear communication.
What is RFI?
RFI, or Request for Inspection, is a digital tool integrated into digiQC that allows the contractor/maker to formally request inspections at various stages of your construction project.
Raise RFI: Select the specific location or component needing inspection.
Detail the Request: Provide necessary details and documentation.
Submit and Track: Track your request in real-time from initiation to completion.
One more Optional Process - Approval, Redo: the quality engineer review, conduct inspections, and either approve the work or gives redo with comment.
With RFI, all inspection requests and results are centralized, making management easy.
To activate this feature, go to the project tab, click the edit button of a specific project, and find the RFI button at the top right. Click it to streamline your quality process.
Thank you for choosing digiQC. We’re committed to helping you achieve excellence in construction quality control. Embrace the new RFI feature and elevate your project management to the next level.
