Once RFI is enabled for the project (see 2.6.9), you add it to a checklist stage. RFI is set stage by stage — you can have it On for one stage and Off for another in the same checklist. Turn on the stage's RFI toggle, optionally set the RFI approver, then Go Live and assign who raises the RFI.
Go to the Projects tab → select the project.
Open the Checklist tab → open the checklist you want.
Select the stage where you want RFI → Settings tab → turn on the RFI toggle → Save.
- Do this per stage — turn RFI On for the stages that need it and leave it Off for the others.
(Optional) Set the RFI approver:
- Click the RFI stage → Approvers tab → turn on the toggle. - Select the approver — internal, external, or both. - Save.
Click Go Live and assign:
- the Checklist user (who fills the checklist), - the RFI user (who raises the RFI), - the Team to notify about the checklist.
The checklist is now Live with the RFI process.
