Answer — Most sync errors happen when your phone has old data, or the internet is weak while uploading. Open the Sync (Sync Status) tab, tap the dropdown (arrow) next to the error, and follow the fix below.
Another inspection already has the same name — names must be different. Fix: Change the EQC name to a new, different name. Sync then starts on its own.
This inspection stage has already been completed by another user, but your phone still shows the old data (it hasn't refreshed) — so your phone is trying to sync a stage that is already done. Fix: In the Sync tab, tap the dropdown next to the error and select Discard — the stage is already saved on the server.
This issue has already been closed, but your phone still has the old data (it hasn't refreshed) — so your phone is trying to sync an action on an issue that no longer needs it.
The photos for this inspection were deleted from the phone or did not save fully, so they cannot be uploaded. Fix: In the Sync Status tab, tap the dropdown, then either Discard the entry, or re-take / re-upload the photos and tap Save (sync restarts on its own).
Another approver has already approved this inspection, or your network dropped while syncing.
The network was weak while uploading, or the image is too large or damaged. Fix: In the Sync Status tab, tap the dropdown, check your internet, then Save / re-upload the image; if it still fails, reduce the image size or re-take the photo.
Good to know — Many sync errors are caused by old data on the phone. Regularly pull down to refresh on the Dashboard, and keep a stable internet connection while syncing.
