2.5.16 How to bulk-assign RFI Initiators across checklists?

Checklist tab → select multiple checklists → Assign → RFI Initiator: add the same RFI-raising users to many checklists at once. Only current changes are updated.

Overview

From a project's Checklist tab you can select several checklists and add the same RFI Initiators — the people who raise the RFI (Request for Inspection) — to all of them in one action.

🧭 How to use

  1. Open the project → Checklist tab.

  2. Select multiple checklists (tick the ones you want).

  3. Click Assign → RFI Initiator — a side drawer opens.

  4. Select the users to add as RFI Initiators.

  5. Apply.

❓ FAQ

What can an RFI Initiator do?

An RFI Initiator can raise the RFI (Request for Inspection) for the selected checklists.

Will this remove the RFI Initiators I already added?

No. A bulk change applies only what you set now — the RFI Initiators already on those checklists stay unchanged.

Is assigning RFI Initiators the same as assigning Checkers?

No — they are separate actions. Use Assign → RFI Initiator for the people who raise the RFI, and Assign → Checker for the people who inspect.

Do I set RFI Initiators and approvers together?

No. RFI Initiators are set through Assign → RFI Initiator; approvers are set through Assign → Assign Approver.

💡 Good to know

  • RFI Initiators are the people who raise the RFI so an inspection can be reviewed.

  • The RFI option is only relevant for checklists whose RFI is switched on.

  • Checkers and approvers are assigned through their own Assign options.
