A Project Admin can rename an EQC or an Issue from the project on the web app — as long as it isn't already completed. A Passed EQC and a Closed Issue can't be renamed.
Go to the Projects tab → EQC tab.
Click the pencil icon next to the EQC.
Enter the new name → Save.
- You can't rename an EQC whose status is Passed. - To see the history: open the EQC → click the info icon beside the name → a pop-up shows Old Name, New Name, Changed by, and Date.
Go to the Projects tab → Issue tab.
Click the pencil icon → the Rename Issue box appears.
Enter the new name → Save. You'll see "Name updated successfully."
- You can't rename an Issue whose status is Closed.
