Only the System Admin can create a project. You add and configure it on a single screen — Project Details, Permissions, and Site Details (radius, time zone, location) — all in one place.
A project draws on your organisation-level users, teams and checklists, and its data is visible only to that project's users.
The permission toggles are set here too — see 2.5.9 for what each one does (some are paid add-ons).
Go to the Projects tab → click + Add.
On the single screen, fill in:
- Project Details — Name, Unique Code, Client Name, Description (optional). - Permissions — set the toggles (see 2.5.9 Project permissions & add-ons). - Site Details — Radius, Time zone, and the map location (Latitude & Longitude).
Click Save to create the project.
Then bring in the project's users, teams and checklists by importing your organisation-level data into the project (see Related articles).
Go to Projects → click the pencil / edit icon on the project → change any detail below → Save.
Name
Unique Code — unique to the project (set at creation; not editable later).
Client Name
Description — (optional).
Radius (m) — the project's geofence radius. To change it, edit the project, enter the new radius, and Save.
Time zone — all date & time stamps in the project follow this zone. To change it, edit the project → Site Details → pick the time zone → Save. (Match it to the project's location.)
Location on the map — type/search the address → drop the pin → Latitude & Longitude fill in automatically.
The permission toggles (Location, Authentication, Instruction Types, Cost of Quality, RFI, EQC Fail → NCR, RFI Number Configurator) are set on this same screen. What each one does — including which are paid add-ons — is explained in 2.5.9 Project permissions & add-ons explained.
Go to the Projects tab — each project has a toggle. Toggle it off to deactivate, and on to reactivate.
How do I add users, teams and checklists to the project? After creating it, import your organisation-level data into the project (see Related articles).
How do I deactivate a project? Use the toggle next to the project on the Projects tab (toggle back on to reactivate).
System Admin only. Add & configure on a single screen (Projects → + Add); edit later via the pencil icon.
