The Setup tab is where organisation-level data is created in digiQC — data that lives at the org level and can be reused across all your projects. Set it up once here, and each project can import what it needs instead of re-entering everything — which makes project setup much faster.
There are three types of organisation-level data:
Users — the people in your organisation.
Teams — groups of users (Consultant, Contractor, Vendor, etc.).
Checklists — your inspection checklists (fetched from digiQC templates or imported as your own).
Open the Setup tab (System Admin only).
Choose what to add — Users, Teams, or Checklists.
Add each manually or import in bulk via CSV (see the linked articles below).
Later, inside any project, use the Import option to pull this org-level data into that project — done by the Project Admin or System Admin.
Holds three org-level data types: Users, Teams, Checklists.
Visible and editable by the System Admin only.
The Import option inside a project brings this org-level data down to the project level — usable by Project Admin & System Admin.
A user is uniquely identified by the combination of email ID + phone number.
A user can belong to multiple teams within the same organisation.
A user can also belong to multiple organisations — i.e. two different organisations that have each purchased digiQC.
A checklist created at org level can be imported into multiple projects — saving time and giving faster project setup.
Creating organisation-level data — Users, Teams, and Checklists — that projects can import and reuse.
Only the System Admin. But the data added here can be imported into projects by both the Project Admin and the System Admin.
The combination of email ID + phone number.
Yes — a user can be in multiple teams (same organisation) and even in multiple organisations that use digiQC.
So it's created once and reused. Importing org-level users, teams and checklists into a project makes setup faster than building everything from scratch.
