Open a checklist from Setup → Checklist to edit its stages and checkpoints — stages on the left, checkpoints on the right. There are three ways to edit: manually, by CSV import, or bulk edit.
After editing, Activate the checklist. Remember: a project that already imported this checklist must re-import it to get your changes.
Setup → Checklist → click the checklist to get inside it.
Rename a stage (pencil) or delete it (delete icon, Actions column).
Click + Add to add a new stage.
Add checkpoints one by one.
Drag & drop to reorder stages or checkpoints.
Method 2 — CSV import (fast for many stages/checkpoints)
Click Import → Sample file to download the `.csv` sample.
Fill in the columns (below).
Save As a `.csv` → click Select File → Start Upload → "CSV imported successfully."
Note: a CSV import overrides the existing checklist stages and their items — it replaces them.
A — Stage name
B — Checkpoint (under its stage)
C — Photo required? — Y or N
D — Remark required? — Y or N
E — Input method — Y/N, NUMERIC, TEXT, or OPTION (Y/N is recommended for faster inspection)
F — Description — optional extra info for the checkpoint (leave blank if none)
File extension MUST be `.csv`.
Photo required (C) and Remark required (D) must be CAPITAL Y or N.
Input method (E) must be CAPITAL — Y/N, NUMERIC, TEXT, OPTION.
Do not leave an empty row, or any empty cell — except Description, which is optional.
Do not edit the header (first) row of the template.
Do not repeat a row (duplicate), and don't add any extra column.
Select multiple stages → make Witness and Drawing mandatory or non-mandatory in one action.
Add bulk checkpoint → add many checkpoints at once to a particular stage.
Select multiple checkpoints → edit their Type, mandatory Photo & Remark, or delete them together.
Yes — it overrides the existing stages and their items.
.csv.Set Witness/Drawing mandatory on multiple stages, add checkpoints in bulk to a stage, and multi-select checkpoints to edit their type / photo / remark or delete them.
No — you must re-import the checklist in that project.
Edit via Manual, CSV import, or Bulk edit.
CSV import OVERRIDES existing stages — `.csv` only; columns A Stage, B Checkpoint, C Photo (Y/N), D Remark (Y/N), E Input, F Description (optional).
Keep Y/N and input types in CAPITALS; no empty rows/cells (except Description); don't edit the header; no duplicates or extra columns.
Bulk edit: multi-select stages → Witness/Drawing mandatory; bulk add checkpoints to a stage; multi-select checkpoints → edit type/photo/remark or delete.
Re-import in a project to apply org-level edits.
