When an approver approves an EQC, it is normally approved and auto-passed — the stage completes on its own, with no action needed from the inspector. The only time you (the inspector) have to manually PASS an approved EQC is when the approver has approved it with a comment. This guide covers both cases.
Open the Inspect module (mobile app).
Select the project from the top-left corner.
Go to the Approval tab.
Open the Approved EQC that carries the approver's comment.
Read the approver's comment, then tap the "PASS" button.
The stage is passed and you are taken to the Well Done page.
Once an EQC's stages are all passed, the EQC is no longer shown on mobile — view or download it in the web portal (app.digiqc.com).
No. When the approver approves without a comment, the EQC is auto-passed and the stage completes by itself. You only need to PASS manually when the approver has approved with a comment.
So that you see and acknowledge the approver's comment before the stage is completed. Tapping PASS confirms you've read it and completes the stage.
In the Approval tab of the Inspect module — after selecting your project from the top-left. The approved EQC with the comment appears there.
The EQC is auto-passed automatically — the stage completes with no inspector action.
It's the confirmation screen shown after a stage is successfully passed.
Once all stages are passed, the EQC leaves the mobile app and can be viewed or downloaded in the web portal (app.digiqc.com).
Approved without a comment = auto-pass — the stage completes on its own, no inspector action.
Manual PASS is needed only when the approver approves with a comment.
The comment is the approver's note to you; passing acknowledges it and completes the stage.
A fully completed EQC is no longer available on mobile — view or download it on the web portal (app.digiqc.com).
