Some setups let you raise an RFI (Request for Inspection) directly, without it needing an approver. You fill in the checklist and Raise RFI, then choose which inspector(s) to notify — they get an alert to carry out the inspection. This guide shows that flow.
Open the Inspect module (Inspections tab) and select/switch the project from the top.
Tap + Add, select the checklist, and enter the location — type it manually, or pick a predefined location from Nomenclature and add a custom name. Then tap Raise RFI (top-right).
Select the witness and add photos; add drawings if they are mandatory. Then answer all the checkpoints. To record extra observations, tap the + (additional point) button.
Tap Raise RFI, then: select the Team to notify, select the inspector(s) to notify, set the "Inspection request on" date and time (mandatory), and tap DONE.
The RFI syncs automatically (shown at the top). The selected inspector then receives a notification to initiate the next stage and conduct the inspection.
It's a setup where you can raise the RFI directly, without an approval step. The RFI goes straight to notifying the inspector(s) you select.
Without an approver there is no review/accept step — you raise the RFI and the inspectors are notified directly. (With an approver, the RFI is reviewed and accepted first — see 2.2.9 RFI process with Approver.)
Yes — on the checkpoints screen, tap the + (additional point) button to add your own points.
It's when you are requesting the inspection to be carried out. You set the date and time while raising the RFI — this is mandatory — and the notified inspector is alerted for it.
The inspector you selected to notify receives an alert to initiate the next stage and conduct the inspection.
No. The RFI syncs automatically — you'll see it syncing at the top.
This flow is available only when the setup allows raising an RFI directly (no approval needed).
You fill in the full checklist (witness, drawings if mandatory, all checkpoints) before raising the RFI.
While raising the RFI you choose the team and inspector(s) to notify and set the "Inspection request on" date and time — this date/time is mandatory.
The notified inspector gets a notification to carry out the inspection.
