In digiQC, an EQC is a single element on which an inspection is being carried out — using a checklist, for a specific location. It's digiQC's name for an inspection record.
For example, one EQC could be a specific column, footing or slab being inspected with its checklist at that location.
When you start a new inspection on the mobile app you create an EQC: you pick the checklist, choose the location, and fill in each checkpoint (with photo, remark, etc.), stage by stage. The EQC then moves through its steps — filled, sent for RFI/approval where those are set — and is finally Passed to complete the stage.
One EQC = one element inspected with one checklist at one location.
An EQC can have several stages (e.g. Pre, During, Post), each filled and approved in turn.
EQCs appear in the EQC list under the Available, Paused and Approval tabs.
